I wanted to clarify the details regarding this year's Holiday Cards. The cards will be full CMYK, so use whatever colors you prefer. We only design the fronts of the card. The image area will be 4.25" x 5.5" or a quarter of a standard letter sheet. It can be either landscape or portrait orientation. You can design in any Adobe program. Designs must be related to the holidays or winter, but you cannot specify a certain holiday or religion.
Students must bring a print-out of their designs to the November 4th meeting. We will vote on our top 4 favorite designs at that meeting. We will then create selling sheets and start selling cards. I plan to have the first orders complete by the start of Thanksgiving Break. We may sell cards through this blog, too, like last year.

UPDATE:
Card designs must be posted onto the UCM AIGA Holiday Card page on Facebook by November 11th. Students will vote on their favorite four (4) designs. Voting will end at midnight on November 12th. To vote, you "like" a design. The top four will be the ones we print.
Students will pick up order forms at the AIGA bulletin board starting November 14th. Be sure to ask your friends, family, teachers, and coworkers to purchase cards to help fund your organization.
