Speakeasy series

The SpeakEasy Series is all about connecting local creatives to each other around their shared interests. The events will be social or discussion oriented and will be limited to small groups of participants. Each group will have a member of the AIGA KC board as its moderator. Browse the proposed sessions here and contact the board member to participate. There are no AIGA KC registration fees—just find something that interests you, gather with a few design friends, and speak easy!

I encourage you all to sign up for at least one Speakeasy! It will be a lot of fun, and a great way to make connections and get involved.

Motion Graphics and live action with Jakob Trollback

Guaranteed to grab your attention, cutting edge motion graphics are spotlighted in AIGA KC's program with Jakob Trollbäck. A New York City designer, Jakob is known for his work with HBO, ESPN, Nike, TED, AIGA and The New York Times Magazine.

KCAI student group event

KCAI is hosting their student group event and it's a halloween party! If you aren't going on the NYC trip, try and get a group together and go. A great chance to meet other design students from other schools. Info for the event is here on facebook.
