For those who weren't able to go to Ad Club Career Day in November and hear about it in person, American Advertising Federation-Kansas City Foundation (previously Kansas City Ad Club) is offering scholarships for Fall 2010/Spring 2011 semesters to advertising, communications, marketing and graphic design students.
UCM students are eligible (and have won in the past!) The deadline for the application is February 1, 2010. To apply online, visit aafkc.com and go to About Us: Ad Club Foundation. The application process also requires an interview in Kansas City for students who's applications are being considered. Students will be informed by mail, shortly after the application deadline if they have been selected for an interview.
Eligible students include those who will be Juniors or Seniors during the 2010/2011 school year. (Graduate students NOT eligible.)
Financial assistance of $750 per semester (paid to the school) is automatically renewed for the following year if application is resubmitted and school and major status is confirmed. You will have the support and counsel of a mentor from the pro membership of AAF-KC and a one year membership of the AAF-KC including all its benefits and free attendance to regular program activities while in school.
